A Facebook post had fans of the starlet all kinds of flustered with the announcement, "The death of the Styrian actress Shukran Murtaja of 44 years old in a car accident, May God rest her soul in peace."
Fortunately Shukran quick to respond with her own social media post, sharing that she hasn't kicked the can just yet.
“How beautiful to start your day with your death news all over the internet, but it was a good choice as I am sick today. How petty," she wrote.
Syrian actor death rumors are spreading like wildfire these days. Mustafa Alkahny in Beirut, Yazan Elsayed in Damascus and Ayman Zeidan were also falsely speculated to have passed away.
