After a crucial month in her life, doctors announced yesterday that the face of renowned Egyptian star Sharihan would never come back to normal after the 18-hour surgery she underwent last month in Paris, according to the UAE daily Al Bayan.
"Her face is permanently deformed and won't get back to normal even with the plastic surgery," one of the doctors at the Pitie Salpetriere hospital in Paris told the newspaper. He added that the star is still under the doctors' supervision, and is suffering from a swelling in her face and thighs.
For his part, Sharihan's secretary Jamal Anwar assured that the star's state is still stable, and that "doctors are still banning visits to Sharihan to avoid any unexpected side effects."
Earlier this month, the medical consultant of the Egyptian embassy in Paris, Dr. Hani Al Hindi, confirmed the stable state of Sharihan, after rumors circulating about the star's death. He explained that the star has suffered from a tumor in her salivary gland, which medical analysis has shown to be a benign, adding that the surgery was a success.
Born on December 6th 1965, Sharihan Ahmad Abdul Fatah Al Shalakani, one of the well-known Khorshid’s family, showed interest in becoming a professional dancer and an actress at an early age. She studied both ballet and tap dancing besides keeping up with school at the age of 6, and made her movie debut at the age of in "Quita Ala Nar" (Quita On Fire). – Albawaba.com
