Prominent Egyptian actress Sharihan has been moved upon request of her doctors from Paris to London to continue intensive treatment. Her doctors had ordered that she remains three days in Paris then three days in London, and so on. Her situation requested that additional medical assistance be given in order to achieve some stability in her condition, therefore her rotation between Paris and London is a must.

According to the London based daily, Al Sharq Al Awsat, a close contact to Sharihan, Aisha Saleh, who is a journalist, had reported that Sharihan is being transported on a medically equipped plane with her doctor and his assistance along with husband Alaa Al Khawaja.

Aisha told the daily that Sharihan had undergone another operation last Saturday, to treat cancerous tumors. Sharihan had surprised everyone a few days before she went into operation in London, communicating through writing, which is her only means at the moment, wishing to go in person to the airport to meet a family member coming to see her. At first her husband strongly refused, but her doctors felt it was no harm for her to go as long as she remained on her wheelchair.

The daily added that Sharihan had also surprised her family when she announced to them through writing that she insists on attending Umra (Pilgrimage) to Saudi Arabia after Eid Al Fitir (Religious holiday after Ramadan).

On October 14, doctors announced that the face of Sharihan would never return to normal, after the 18-hour surgery she underwent last month in Pitie Salpetriere hospital, in Paris. Her secretary Jamal Anwar assured then that the star's state is still stable, and that doctors are still banning visits to Sharihan to avoid any unexpected side effects.

The Egyptian Embassy, for its part, has said that Sharihan got several phone calls during this week following the surgery from well known figures in Egypt, including Nour al Sherif, Nagla’ Fathi, Izzat al Alaili, Mohammed Subhi, Hussein Fahmi, Adel Imam, and Mamdouh al Laithi.

Born on December 6th 1965, Sharihan Ahmad Abdul Fatah Al Shalakani, a member of the well-known Khorshid family, showed interest in becoming a professional dancer and an actress at an early age. She studied both ballet and tap dancing besides keeping up with school at the age of 6, and had her movie debut in "Quita Ala Nar" (Quita On Fire). – Albawaba.com
