Prominent Egyptian actress Sharihan has denied circulating rumors that she attempted to commit suicide in a live phone interview with an Egyptian television network.
The actress asserted that she is good health and will stay on course with her cancer treatment.
The actress expressed her disappointment that such a rumor was published, according to the Saudi based daily, Al Riyadh.
Sharihan traveled to Germany for over a month to undergo treatment for salivary gland Cancer where doctors were able to control the spread of the tumors located in her jaw. After her release from the hospital, her doctors assured her that she will be able to return to her normal life, but with great precautions.
During her medical treatment in Germany, Sharihan suffered major setbacks after hearing the tragic news of the death of prominent Egyptian actor Ahmad Zaki.
Doctors in Egypt supervising her condition have advised Sharihan to return to Germany to continue her treatment, and emphasized that she must recuperate before resuming her normal activities.
