Egyptian director Sharif Sabri has strongly denied recent circulating rumors that he has secretly married Egyptian singer Ruby. Sharif is the main person behind Ruby's success in addition to being the sole person responsible for managing her career and directing her two music videos.
Sabri has stressed that the relationship that connects him with Ruby is strictly a business one, but he regretfully added that people have a misconception of such relationship especially when the two sides are opposite sex. Sharif is considered as Ruby's savior and leader into the world of music and popularity. He has placed her on the same level of most controversial singers like Lebanese singers Nancy Ajram, Haifa Wahbi and Alissa.
Sharif was able in a very short period of time to make a success out of Ruby, which was by creating extremely seductive music videos that caused chaos in the Arab world and Egypt specifically.
The Egyptian Musicians Association has announced that it intends on taking legal actions against the latest sensation Ruby and is trying to find out her exact place of residence to place her under interrogation. The singer had changed her place of residence and it is stated that the only person who knows where she lives is Sabri.
According to the London based daily, Al Quds Al Arabi, the association has demanded that the singer be placed under arrest and legal actions be taken against her for breaking the law and singing without obtaining a permit from the association, which is the law for any singer who wishes to practice the profession.
Recently, a Member of the Egyptian Musicians Association musician Hassan Abu Al Su’ood has publicly dropped a bombshell by announcing that Egyptian singer Ruby has attempted to enter the association under a phony alias, but was caught in time and her attempt failed. He added that they went through all the legal papers that include the names of all their members and Ruby’s name was not among them.
Hassan added that Ruby is illegally practicing the profession of singing, which demands that legal actions must be taken against her. He stressed that anyone who attempts to practice singing without being a member of the association must be prosecuted by serving a jail sentence or paying a large fine. –Albawaba.com
