Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, a music producer, has filed a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs in the Southern District of New York.
The allegations are serious, accusing Combs of unwanted sexual advances, forced engagement with sex workers, and other disturbing behavior.
The Allegations
According to court documents, Jones lived and traveled with Combs between September 2022 and November 2023. During this time, he claims to have been drugged and recalls waking up naked, dizzy, and confused in bed with two sex workers and Combs himself. Jones further alleges that Combs was grooming him to pass him off to his friends and engaging in serious illegal activity.
The lawsuit also includes disturbing photos taken at Combs’ house, allegedly featuring underage girls and sex workers who were supplied with drugs. Other defendants named in the suit include Combs’ son, Justin, his chief of staff, Kristina Khorram, Universal Music Group chief executive Sir Lucian Grainge, and former Motown Records CEO Ethiopia Habtemariam. The suit claims that these individuals failed to adequately monitor, warn, or supervise Combs, his son, and his chief of staff.
Combs’ Response
Combs’ attorney, Shawn Holley, has vehemently denied the allegations, calling them “pure fiction.” Holley asserts that there is “overwhelming, indisputable proof” that Jones’ claims are false. The legal battle will unfold in court, and Combs intends to take appropriate action against those making these accusations.
A Pattern of Allegations
This is not the first time Combs has faced sexual assault allegations. Last November, he was sued for assault by his ex-girlfriend, Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura. The two settled their case out of court. However, the legal battle continues, with four more accusers now filing lawsuits against him. These allegations range from drugging and sexual assault to disturbing videos and incidents dating back to the early 1990s.
