'I'm making an effort to not buy plastic containers so to those using boxes, glass or other plastic alternatives, thank you, and to any plastic I have here, I won't be buying anymore,' she wrote on her Instagram Story.
She concluded her caption by encouraging her 105 million followers to also stop purchasing plastic, as she posted a snap of her clean and orderly refrigerator.
The mother-of-three most likely has several fridges as this one only appeared to hold beverages, such as almond milk, grapefruit juice and drinkable probiotics.

After she was mocked for having 'empty' shelves earlier this year, she gave a 'fridge tour' and went through her well-stocked pantries.
She started by showed fans the inside of her pantry, stating, 'I got rid of all my plastics,' while holding up her glass jars of various dried good, adding that even all her sprinkles are removed from their original containers.
Kim, then, walked past the freezer to a fridge with a clear glass door, which was largely empty, save for some Norwegian Voss water bottles, cans of Perrier sparkling water, boxed Flow water, Boxed Water Is Better cartons and Canada Dry soft drinks, stating she gets 'rid of all' the 'plastic bottles' for her 'drink fridge.'
Elsewhere in the clip, Kim revealed that she stocks her fridges with a variety of traditional and plant-based milks, with her shelves featuring oat milk, lactose free, organic pasteurised, almond and priobiotic milk.
Explaining the need for so many different types, she said: 'All my kids use a different kid of milk, you guys,' while showing the fridge that was featured in the earlier Instagram story snap, then noting that 'fresh water and juices' were stocked in a separate area.
Kim then filmed herself walking into the main part of the kitchen, 'where it all happens,' she said, passing one of her staff members, Marina, on the way before opening the massive walk-in fridge.
