Saudi tycoon Fahed Al Zahed has honored Lebanese diva Sabah during a private held by Lebanese businessman Robert Muawad in honor of Sabah.

Fahed presented Sabah with a very exquisite and expensive present as a way to show his appreciation and admiration and wish her a happy new year.

According to the London based Elaph, Sabah had gone through a very rough time during 2006, first with the deterioration of her health condition and her admittance to hospital, second the ongoing rumors that she was attacked with in the media, ending with her daughter being admitted to a rehabilitation center.

On a different note, a Cairo court has set November 2 as the hearing date to decide on the verdict in the case filed by one of the contracting companies against prominent singer Sabah demanding that aide by the terms of the contract between them, which basically states that the singer sold the company her apartment.

The company claimed that Sabah had sold them her apartment on June 22, 1985 for a price of 50 thousand Egyptian pounds and had received the amount in full. A full description of the company was given with its location. Sabah had failed to abide by the terms of the contract and shift the property right to it and did not remove any of her belongings from it.

The company is demanding that Sabah hands over the apartment and is hopeful the court will rule in its favor.
