Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso who are two-thirds of the Swedish House Mafia have been confirmed to perform at the opening evenot of the Atlantis, The Palm resort's annual beach music festival, Sandance.
The festival kicks off at 3pm on Friday 10 October 2014 and goes from 3pm to 3am.
Ingrosso and Axwell are both famed for their DJ skills- they have remixed for Justin Timberlake, Usher, Britney Spears and Madonna and their Ibiza nightclub, Departures, is a hit on the small Spanish island. Individually, Ingrosso may be slightly better than Axwell as he beat out his partner in crime by one spot in the DJ Mag’s top 100 DJs poll. How'd they both fare? Ingrosso came 18th in the world and Axwell came in at 19th.
The dynamic duo previously performed with Steve Angello under the act Swedish House Mafia, but split apart in March 2013. Angello finished 26th, in the DJ mag competition, but still has a multitude of worlwide sensations, including Don’t You Worry Child, Miami 2 Ibiza (with Tinie Tempah) and One (with Pharrell).
From 'Ibiza 2 Dubai', it looks like Axwell and Ingrosso know how to get the party started!
