Moroccan singer Samira Saeed denied reports that she postponed the filming of her new music video for the Moroccan song "Ma Zal" (Still) due to her feeling of extreme exhaustion and a deterioration to her health. Samira stressed that the filming was temporarily halted due to the sudden travel of its director Jamil Al Maghazi abroad. She added that filming will resume upon his return.
Samira also denied filming the clip in Morocco and stated that the clip will be filmed entirely in Egypt. The singer was shocked by requests made by people to translate the song, and despite this request, the song has been witnessing tremendous success in Morocco and around the Arab world.
She said that even though she sang the song in the Moroccan dialect making her fans in Egypt find a hard time understanding most of the words, the positive feedback she had received from people made her enthusiastic about filming it in the form of a music video that meets her fans expectations.
The clip is proposed to be launched by the end of the current month in time for Valentine's Day celebrations. Samira stated that the song is her comeback to her fans after a period of absence from the scenes.
With regards to her signing with the production company 'Rotana', Samira stated that she is currently reviewing a number of offers she received from different companies to select the most suitable.
