Egyptian actor Sameh Al Sereiti flies to Baghdad this week to perform in his new play That Al Himma (Strong-Willed Lady), according to the Arabic daily Al Bayan.
Costarring in the play along with Sereiti are Wafaa Abdel Hakim and Galal Othman.
The play will be staged in Baghdad as part of Egyptian-Iraqi cultural cooperation.
After returning home, Sereiti will continue shooting his role in the new TV series Al Sira Al Hilaliyya (History of Bani Hilal), an Arab epic directed by Hani Ismail.
Costarring in the series are Riyad Al Khuli, Ghada Abdel Razzaq, Buthayna Rashwan, Fadia Abdel Ghani, Mohammed Wafiq, Al Sayyed Radi and Hadi Al Giar – Albawaba.com
