Prominent Egyptian actress Sabrine has completed recording a collection of episodes from her upcoming television program "Tal Al Amar" (The Moon is Out), which she will be presenting on the new Islamic satellite television channel "Al Risalah" (The Message), owned by Saudi Prince Talal.

According to the London based weekly, Laha, the program will mark the second time Sabrine presents a show for television the first being on the Dubai satellite channel under the title of Sabrine.

The new show "Tal Al Amar" will be part of the first batch of programs on the new channel, and Sabrine will be discussing the right ethical and religious manners today's youth should follow.

Sabrine made her first public appearance since her resignation from Egyptian television. The actress appeared as a guest of honor on the popular show “Al Bait Baitak” during an episode to commemorate the anniversary of the death of Egypt’s legendary singer Umm Kalthoum, who died thirty years ago.

Sabrine was invited to appear on the show after starring in the successful television drama portraying the life of Umm Kalthoum. The drama was the highlight of Sabrine’s acting career, bringing her notoriety throughout the Arab world.

The previously resigned actress had recently filed a case in Egyptian court against the CEO of the Saudi Bank in Cairo, demanding 5 million Egyptian pounds for emotional trauma. The court will soon announce its verdict.

The court previously ruled that Sabrine was not guilty of fraud and embezzlement, as charged by Saudi Bank.

The court instead ordered that a bank employee undergo a handwriting exam to verify that he was the one who wrote a check in Sabrine’s name for 219 thousand Egyptian pounds to be taken from her account.

The court ruled that the bank employee had conspired with Sabrine’s ex-husband to steal her money.
