For the first time, Tunisian singer Saber Ribaee is playing the role of a father in his new video clip for the song “Rouh Allah Yehmeek” (May God Protect You). The clip was filmed in Lebanon under the direction of Waleed Nasef.
According to the London based Elaph, the director has presented Saber in the clip in a manner that is extremely similar to his everyday life and that of a father to a boy and girl. In the clip Saber encourages his children to learn to play different musical instruments and to exercise their hobbies. He also takes his children to the park and helps them with their homework, exactly as he acts with his real children.
Filming of the clip lasted for three days, with a lag of 24 hours due to bad weather conditions. Cameras of the highest technologies were used. The clip will soon be aired on ‘Rotana’ music channel. The clip is his second from his recent album “Ajmal Nisa El Dunia” (The most beautiful woman of the world).
“Rouh Allah Yehmeek” is written by Nizar Francis and composed by Saber himself.
Recently, friends of Ribaee held a surprise birthday party for him in Egypt, where he was visiting to record songs for his upcoming album. Saber was shocked with the large number of artists, composers, and close friends that attended the celebration.
The party was held at an elegant restaurant on the Nile River.
Saber has completed recording the songs for the album in studios in Egypt, Beirut, and Turkey and has submitted the final copy to his production company ‘Rotana.’
The album is scheduled for release in April. The singer is currently in Tunisia to spend some quality time with his wife and children and relax before the release.
Saber is the first Arab singer from his generation to perform on the legendary stage of Olympia. Other Arab singers who performed on Olympia were late Egyptians Umm Kalthoum and Abdul Halim Hafez.
The singer has held several memorable performances around the Arab world and abroad. His most recent was a concert in the United States of America, where he held a New Year’s Eve concert in Detroit Michigan, which drew a massive crowd of local Arab fans.
