In Hollywood, celebs read "Mean Tweets" about themselves on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show. In the Arab world, we like to circulate satirical Whatsapp jokes about our fave stars!

The latest of those was a "funny" one about Lebanese veteran singer Sabah, who must have gotten used to a life of rumors, sarcasm and criticism after over 60 years in the business

But it's Sabah's niece, Janno Faghali, who doesn't seem to have gotten used to seeing her auntie suffer at the hands of pranksters. 'Tis the life of a celeb dear Janno!

Janno was upset when a picture of the Diva, along with a caption making fun of her for being alive since the first ever World Cup games kicked off in 1930, went viral.

The caption read: "Sabah was born in 1927, that means she's been around for every single championship in the history of the World Cup. She should be given a free membership to the channels airing the games as a way of honoring her."

Janno was hurt by the "joke" and said that Sabah doesn't deserve to be ridiculed just because of her age. She added that her aunt has always been kind to everyone and never hurt anyone's feelings.

According to Laha Magazine, the doting niece said that Sabah is a historical icon who has achieved great things throughout her career, such as bringing joy to people all over the Arab world.

All Janno feels is that Sabah deserves to be recognized and honored for her achievements rather than be ridiculed for her old age!

We say "Keep Calm and Ignore the Rumors"!
