Saba Mubarak supports revolutions around the Arab world

Prominent Jordanian actress Saba Mubarak broke down in tears during an appearance on the first episode of the new television program “Hatha Ana” (This is me), aired on the satellite channel MBC and hosted by journalist Rania Barghouth. Saba became emotional on the program when she talked about the loss of her mother and the revolutions taking place around the Arab world.

 

Saba said that events taking place around the Arab world may bring honor and promise, since for the first time people are finally fighting for their right to live in a free and democratic environment.

 

“People are demanding corrupt leaders are removed from power, changing the outlook for future generations,” said Saba.

 

According to the internet website MBC.net, Saba shed tears when she began talking about her mother who passed away. Saba said that her mother had predicted that major changes taking place in the Arab world, and had hoped that one day Palestine will be free.
