The Jordanian actress Saba Mubarak will start filming her latest television drama series “Balqis,” a historic series produced by ‘Arab Production Center.’
According to the Jordanian daily Al Rai,  “Balqis” is directed by Basem Al Khateeb and written by Rashid Khasona.

Saba plays the leading role in the new series, scheduled to be aired on television during the upcoming Ramadan season.

Saba has signed a new contract with the Jordanian company “My Management,” for the company to manage all of Saba’s art work for the next three years. The production company is the first Jordanian company of its kind to manage a major Jordanian artist’s work.

Saba has finished filming her first Egyptian film, “Binteen Min Maser” (Two Girls from Egypt), also staring Egyptian actress Zaina. The film is written and directed by Muhammad Ameen, and will be screened in movie theaters in November.

Saba is becoming increasingly popular, receiving offers to star in various dramas. She recently received an offer to star in a Syrian drama series and in three Egyptian films. For the time being she is reviewing the scripts to choose the best offers.

Saba also received an offer from a well-known satellite channel to start presenting a new art and entertainment show to be aired at the beginning of next year.
