The "gay" accusations started due to fans of Saad Lamjarred viewing the video as "romantic" due to the song choice and the way it was filmed. The gestures of making a heart with his hands didn't help either but everything didn't mean much since at the end, Lamjarred showcased a picture of him and his wife together.
Despite receiving many positives from fans telling him to "have fun" and have a "happy vacation," other users pointed out something else:
