Lebanese singer/actor Rula Sa’ed was glowing at the press conference she held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Cairo after she answered journalist’s questions in her quiet manner, demonstrating that she is strong and self assured, according to the London daily Elaph.
Rula has been under constant attack by the media, and has learned how to adequately defend herself and her career.
Rula has been chosen to appear in a new Egyptian film “Room 707.” She was in Cairo to celebrate the launching of the film, where she will begin shooting the first scenes.
Journalist wanted to get the latest scoop on Rula’s differences with famous Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi. Critics have accused Rula of coming to Egypt as part of an effort to imitate Haifa. Rula asserts that she came to Egypt because she sees it as the ‘Hollywood’ of the Arab world, and therefore the best place to become a movie star.
Rula made it clear that she is in Egypt to celebrate her new film and she has no interest in talking about Haifa. “Haifa means nothing to me,” Rula bluntly said.
