Controversial Egyptian singer and actress, Ruby, is not exactly known for her modest clothing choices either on and off-screen. So when rumors spread of an assault on the star in Cairo, many fans were quick to believe them.
But the songstress told reporters this week that she was left unharmed and the "assault" was really just a group of fans surrounding her while she shot scenes from new movie, 'Al Harami wal Abeet' (The Thief and the Fool), on location in the Egyptian capital.
Ruby admitted that she was up to her old tricks of skimpy ensembles though, saying that despite the cold weather, she had worn "light clothes" while shooting. The actress was wearing such scanty apparel that she picked up a cold while filming but the star insisted it was worth it, despite getting sick.
