ALBAWABA - American actor Robert Downey Jr. recently went viral for making a surprise appearance at Comic-Con and announcing his comeback to the Marvel universe as the iconic villain Doctor Doom.
A report claimed that he will be receiving a whopping $100 million in bonuses and salary for his new Marvel role which will cost Disney quite a hefty price, according to a report by Puck News.
On the other hand, Variety stated that the actor will receive $80 million instead but added that he gets extra perks including dedicated security, private jet traveling, and a whole trailer.

This might be worrying to fans as both Marvel movies and series didn't receive the best reviews due to their quality with Guardians of the Galaxy 3 and Deadpool & Wolverine being the only exception.

Moreover, it seems Downey Jr. only accepted the offer if The Russo Brothers directed the upcoming film. They worked on many Marvel movies including Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame.

Robert Downey Jr. earned Marvel around $500 million due to his excellent role as Iron Man in the trilogy and Avengers films.
Moreover, he also appeared as a cameo in other movies like The Incredible Hulk, Captain America: Civil War, and Spider-Man: Homecoming, according to Consequence Film.
