Being an active member of Egypt’s Writers Union, recognized by the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, Poet Saedany Al-Salamoni pled for an urgent cease for the ongoing theatrical play ‘Wasat El-Balad’ directed by Naser Abdel Minem. The performance stars Abdel Minem Madboli an exceptional comedian plays Saedany, criticizing the poet in every way, highlighting every aspect of his character with rude humor. Arriving to an eventual climax, the theatrical play detriments Saedany’s fame when committing him having an affair with a young dancer.
An urgent court hearing has been scheduled for September 4th, where the court will examine the case, issuing the final decision.
