Jordanian singer Rania Al Kurdi’s attitude in dealing with contestants for the popular show Super Star, which is similar to a talent show that young individuals compete on,is seen as rude and unacceptable. Even though the singer thinks she is introducing a new style of presenting, she is simply making fun of almost each contestants ridiculing either their performances or outside appearance.

According to the Saudi based daily, Al Riyadh, Rania has gone too far in most cases hurting the feeling of participants in the popular show causing them to be nervous and begin shivering in most cases after they have been publicly humiliated. Sometimes her comments become too insulting causing some to break down and cry. Her response to any reaction would simply be a laugh thinking she is being witty, when in fact she is being very unprofessional discouraging all those who may have had a better chance if she was a little bit considerate.

Rania believes that during any test, a person is either rewarded or humiliated so everyone willing to take a chance must take any criticism he/she is faced with. The singer forget along the way that her personal opinion should not be the deciding point on whether someone is a good or bad performer, especially since she neglects to think that not everyone appreciates her style or music. For this reason she should give people the benefit of the doubt regardless of how they look.

The daily added that it is somewhat confusing how the managing board of the Lebanese satellite channel Future, who air the show on a weekly basis, have not realized how inappropriate the attitude of Rania is. There should be certain limits on how rude a person can be to others on live TV. –Albawaba.com
