Last year, our most entertaining evenings were spent watching Ragheb Alama and Ahlam bickering like an old married couple on Arab Idol.
Their never-ending drama ended with Alama's shock exit from the TV talent competition.
And although he promised us that his exit had nothing to do with the feisty UAE singer, we all think that he just couldn't bear the sound of her constantly annoying voice and rude remarks any longer!
However, now the Lebanese singer is confessing otherwise! In a recent interview with Al Jaras magazine, Alama said, "I swear to God that on a personal level, I love Ahlam very much, even after leaving Arab Idol. But we are both professionals and I really disliked what was happening on the show. I've warned them to put an end to it on several occasions, but no one took my warnings seriously."
No worries though, because Alama's career as "judge" smoothly carried forward. He's happily joined the "X Factor Arabia's" judging panel, alongside Lebanese diva Elissa, UAE singer Hussein Al Jasmi, and fellow newcomer Egyptian singer and actress Donia Samir Ghanem, and they all seem to be getting on like a house on fire!
But when asked what he'd do if "Queen" Ahlam were to join the X Factor, the humorous star said, "I wouldn't leave the show for sure. She wasn't the main reason behind me leaving Arab Idol; she was an indirect reason.
"That's why if Ahlam joins the X Factor I will first welcome her and later tease and aggravate her even more than I had done before."
And since he was in a generous mood, Alama added, "I'd welcome Ahlam to sing on the X Factor stage during the Live episodes, just like we did on Arab Idol. I'll put in a request with the show's producers to send Ahlam an invitation to guest star on our show."
Now That's an episode we can't wait to watch!
