With no prior warning and after thousands of fans who gathered up in front of the open stage in city Banzirt, Tunisia, the manager of the Banzirt festival cancelled the concert for the famous Lebanese singer Ragheb Alamah.

According to the London daily Elaph, the reason behind the cancellation is that the budget for the festival did not allow to have such a highly paid singer to sing at the festival.

Alamah is on tour in Tunisia, where he’ll be singing in three different Tunisian cities. The news of the cancellations comes while Alameh is rehearsing for his concert.

The famous singer is shocked and hurt to hear the news. He is considered to have his own prestige and is considered to be a well-known singer in the Arab world and such a cancellation will damage his reputation throughout the Arab world.

Alamah’s earlier concert was a great success and it is predicted that his concert at Carthage will be as well.

It is revealed that the manager of the Banzirt festival will be canceling the concert for Fadel Shaker as well.

The Festival manager Abdullah Al Abasi states that the sales for Alamah’s concerts were very low. Only 25 tickets for the concert were sold therefore the festival could not handle this type of loss, which means the concert had to be cancelled. The same goes for Fadel Shaker; there were hardly any sales for his concert and a decision was made to cancel his performance.
