Lebanese superstar Ragheb Alama congratulated his colleague Elissa on winning the “World Music Award”, despite his doubts on the validity of the award. Ragheb stated that Elissa deserved the award and he congratulates her for receiving it for the third time, despite the fact that it is widely known that this particular award is usually bought by singers and not gained for their achievements.
Ragheb noted that he is satisfied with the different duets he presented and the duet he had presented with Elissa in the past had received negative criticism, but he was confident that one day she will become famous, adding that today Elissa is considered one of the most popular female Arab singers.
The signer had confirmed circulating rumors about a potential duet between him and Columbian/Lebanese singer Shakira. He added that negotiations are currently being held and he is going over a number of possible songs for the duet in order to select the most suitable one.
