In the corridors of al Ahram studios, actress Raghda has started shooting her new TV series “Ams La Yamoot” (Yesterday Never Dies), which is supposed to be screened in the forthcoming Ramadan, according to al Gomhuria daily newspaper.
The series, written by Mohammed Safa’ Amer, tells the story of an engineer lady whom her husband, a police officer, dies in a mysterious way. She travels to United States to recover from the shock, but comes back home after 20 years to uncover the secret behind her husband’s death.
The thirty-episode series, directed by Dr. Khalid Bahgat, provides a new romantic-thrilling aspect to the Egyptian Drama, holding another political and comedian sides to the story. Tackling corruption played by actor Riyadh al Khuli, writer Safa’ Amer says that the message he wanted to deliver is that “Yesterday always comes back uncovering all mysteries.”
“Ams La Yamoot” also stars, Abu Bakr Izat, Khaled Sarhan, Abdul Aziz Makhyoon, Sawsan Badr, the new face Iyman al Assi and many others.
On the big screen, Raghda’s new movie ‘Layali Fil Amar’ (Moon Nights), will soon be released. The movie, starring Faris Rahome, Tariq al Tilmisani and actress Yasmine al Gilani, tells the story of a wife who is deceived to pose in a sexual manner for a young photographer, to find herself later infront of lots of difficulties to deal with. – Albawaba.com
