Syrian starlet, Raghda, thought things had hit rock bottom when she was attacked in Egypt last week after a 'racist' poetry recital landed her in hot water with an angry crowd.

But it seems things are set to get even worse for the pro-Assad actress with Egyptian lawyer, Abdel Hamid Shalaan, filing a lawsuit to have her thrown out of the country and banned from working there again.

The 55-year-old actress angered attendees of last week's Cairo Opera House Arab Poetry Conference after reciting verses showing her support for the embattled Syrian president. The Arab beauty is also accused of making a number of 'racist' and blasphemous claims during the recital.

After her performance was cut short, Raghda was reportedly attacked by around six men from the crowd.

According to Sayidaty.net, since the Opera House fiasco, Abdel Hamid has been working on having Raghda kicked out of Egypt, saying that the actress should return to Assad in Syria.

Reports say that Abdel Hamid has called on the Egyptian Actor's Union to put an end to all work with the Syrian starlet.
