He may be a religious minority in the Middle East, but Qusai Khouli isn't scared to share his personal beliefs. The Syrian actor recently demonstrated his faith loud and proud in permanent ink.

Al Jaras Magazine reports that he revealed his Christianity by having these words tattooed to his body, “The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.”

It's a quote from Jesus Christ that can be found in John 11:25 of the Bible. It speaks of the security of eternal life Jesus provides to those who believe in his life, death on the cross as a propitiation for human sins, and the power his resurrection has to free them from punishment.

Qusai commented on his new tattoo saying, “I know that there will be contradicting views regarding my tattoo, with some saying it is a taboo to have such a statement written, I assure everyone that I respect everyone and I only wrote a statement that I truly believe in.”
