According to the London daily Elaph, the young Lebanese artist Qamar has returned to the spotlight with a new music album, scheduled for release in December.
Qamar’s absence was due to problems she faced with the production company ‘Melody,’ including a lawsuit against her.
Qamar chose ten songs to include on her new album, varying between the Lebanese and Egyptian dialects.
She has already filmed a music video clip for one of the songs, “Al Atabah Qazaz” (The Step Is Glass), from the Egyptian folklore genre. The clip was filmed on location in Turkey and will be aired on satellite music channels this month.
