Nicole Scherzinger arrived a day late for the 'X Factor' judges' houses stage, after she stopped by London for a passion-fuelled pit-stop with Lewis Hamilton.
The former Pussycat Doll was due to land in Dubai on Sunday, but begged bosses for an en-route stopover in London.
LA-based Scherzinger, 34, was so keen to spend a night with her 27-year-old F1 boyfriend that she was prepared to fly halfway round the world for just a few hours with him.
When she finally arrived at the exclusive Palm Islands resort in Dubai - 24 hours later than planned - she had to step off the overnight plane and start shooting straight away.
But the popstar was all smiles despite the busy schedule.
"The smile on her face said it had been worth it," the Mirror quoted a source as saying.
Even after arriving the first thing lovesick Scherzinger did was call Hamilton, talking to him for half an hour in her room.
"She must have been exhausted," one hotel insider said.
Glamorous Scherzinger, who temporarily split from Hamilton in November amid speculation that their schedules meant they rarely saw each other, cannot stop talking about her "boyfriend" to production staff and crew.
"They are obviously very loved up again.
"They both travel all the time so it's important to grab any time together they can," the source said.
