Yo, women can rap just as well as men... right, Nicki Minaj?

But now a Syrian woman is proving that women can spit lyrics even while pregnant.

The Muslim-American poet and activist - aka, Mona Haydar - released her first ever single AND rap music video to mark the world's first-ever Muslim Women's Day on Mar 27. Respect!

Because music is the universal language of the world and has a magical way of bringing people together, Mona thought it was the ideal way to fight Islamophobia.

Titled "One," Mona's music video didn't go down too well with some people, who described it as "Haram."

But Miss Mona wasn't phased by her haters, hitting back at them by saying:

"If my video is haraam, why you watching haraam stuff?#hijabiXmona (sic)."

Well, we certainly see nothing wrong with your new hit, Mona. In fact, we're shaking our booties to it as we speak!
