Prominent Egyptian actor Poussy is currently filming the scenes of her upcoming television drama “Al Shaitan La Ya’rif Al Hub” (The Devil Does not know how to Love).
The drama is directed by Ahmad Al Nahas and is produced by the ‘Voice of Cairo.’ Prominent actor Mahmoud Qabeel and Hussein Imam star in the drama alongside Poussy.
The new drama revolves around a wife, played by Poussy, who discovers that her husband has betrayed her and is having an affair with another woman. The woman is left to care for her mother in law, while her husband goes on his second honeymoon.
The woman demands a divorce, refusing her husband’s overtures. She files a lawsuit against him and the court rules in her favor, granting her the divorce.
The drama becomes more complicated when the woman discovers that she was also married to another man, in addition to her husband whom she divorced.
Her first husband files an appeal, and the court overturns the case, ruling in the husband’s favor. She is found guilty and sentenced to prison.
The actress has been nominated by director Mohammad Abu Al Su’ood for the leading role in the upcoming play “Al Balcoona” (The Balcony), written by French writer Jan Anwi and costarring Ali Hasaneen and Caroline Khalil.
After recovering from serious injuries sustained from a car accident in Morocco, Poussy received approval from her doctors to return to acting.
