The Egyptian actress Ola Ghanem will participate in the new television drama series “Waraq Al Tout” (Berries Leaves).

Ola plays the role of a young woman that postponed marriage to achieve her dreams and goals. The new drama series will air during the upcoming Ramadan season.

According to the London daily Elaph, the series is written by Ahmad Subhi, directed by Adel Al Asar and produced by ‘Cairo Sound Production Company’.

The series stars Ola Ghanem, Ahmad Khalil, Nihal Ambar, Randa Al Behairi, Ehab Fahmi, Yaser Farag, Samir Sabri, Yasmine Al Jilani, Maha Abu Oof, Aydah Abed Al Aziz and Hisham Abdullah.

On other grounds, Ola agreed to star in the new theater production “Akhasmak Ah Aseebak La” (Get Mad at You Yes, Leave You No). Ola denies knowing that the Lebanese artists Nancy Ajram and Marwa were previously nominated for the role.

The controversial Egyptian lawyer Nabeeh Al Wahish filed a lawsuit against Ola, Dolly Shaheen, Reem Hilal and Sarah Basam, the leading stars of the film “Bedoon Raqaba” (Uncensored).  He believes that all four actresses should be tried for promoting lesbian behavior.
