Gilbert Fayad, business manager of Lebanese singer Nourhanne, had received a letter from an association called Gandhi for Human Rights in the Middle East and Africa requesting that the singer accept the position of heading the association.
Gilbert was very hesitant towards the letter and did not express an interest in having the singer accept the position, especially since it was not a detailed or clear one that specifies essential information about the association like where it receives its funding and what are the different activities it performs.
According to the London based Elaph, Gilbert had requested additional information from the association but received no response. At the same time the association had sent a similar request to Lebanese singer Dina Hayek requesting her to become the ambassador of the association and represent them, particularly due to the good reputation she has of undergoing several humanitarian activities.
Dina had accepted the position gladly and will now be representing the association.
On a different note, after having called off all her entertainment activities, Nourhanne headed off to Dubai to resume work on her upcoming album. The singer revealed that she plans on releasing her new album during the Muslim holiday Eid Al Fitr, which is at the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
Nourhanne plans on filming one of the songs from the album in the form of a music video to release it as a promotion for the new work.
Recently, Nourhanne had left a major issue unresolved during a press conference for the release of her latest music video “Tab Wana Mali” (What is it my Business).
She did not mention the original music distributor for the song “Tab Wana Mali”, whose name is Nasseem, and instead had placed the name of distributor Adel Aish on the album.
Nasseem claims that he is the distributor of the song and has the documents to prove it.
