While some around the region were sitting around the Christmas tree celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, Nour El Sherif and his family had another reason to party last week. His daughter Sarah, who also works in the film industry, got engaged to Egyptian businessman Khamis Mohammad Khamis.
The Egyptian actor, his ex-wife actress Boussy, and the rest of the future Mr. and Mrs. families sneaked away to Nour's villa in the city of Sheikh Zayed in Cairo for a private party in honor of the happy couple. No celebrities, outside of the star-filled family, were invited to attend the intimate affair tucked away from the eyes of the media.
Sarah is Nour's eldest daughter. She has worked as an assistant director to some famous directors, but the bride-to-be has been away from the spotlight for some time due the fact that she was receiving medical treatment in Paris.
