Lebanese singer/actress Nicole Saba just finished recoding the song “Qalbak Mish Ala Had” (Your Heart is not for anyone); the words are written by Amir Ta’mah and composed and distributed by Khaled Izz. The Song will be used as an advertisement for Saba’s new film “Amalyat Khasah” (Private Missions).
The new film is created by Omar Taher and Ahmad Isa and is directed by Othamn Abu Laban. A number of Egyptian actors star alongside Saba in the new action movie like, Khaled Salim, Tamer Harjas, Amir Krarah, Nabil Isa and the well known actor Mustafa Fahmi.
The story of the film revolves around a group of young men who are sick of their boring lives and feel like failures, yet a security agency uses them to go on a private mission for their country. The film is produced by Muhammad Abed Al Halim, Muna Kotab and Yaser Salah. The new film will be shown in movie theaters around the middle of the year break, which will starts on January 16th and it will last till the beginning of February.
According to the London daily Elaph, on the other hand Nicole just left Cairo heading to Lebanon to see the feedback of the Lebanese fans toward her new television drama series “Hawa’ Fe Al Tarikh” (Eve in History) that is aired on the Lebanese channel ‘LBC’. Saba plays the role of the famous Arab poet and female knight “Wilada Bint Al Mstkfi”. The role took a lot of effort from Saba where she felt really tired during the filming, because this is the first time she took a role speaking the formal and classic Arabic language. She also had to learn how to recite the classical Arabic poetry.
It is needless to say that the drama series has separate episodes, where each episode talks about a different famous eve from the past. In the same series a number of famous singer/actress took on a major role. Actress Jomana Murad took the role of Zanobia, Lebanese singer Carol Samaha took the role of Cleopatra, Sireen Abed Al Noor played the role of Shahrazad and Nadine Al Rasi took the role of Nefertiti.
The blonde singer Nicole Saba made sure that acting did not take her away from her singing; on the contrary, she rather tries her best to focus on whatever project she is working on for the moment. She believes that being away from singing and releasing new albums might have played to her favor, because she was able to take on leading roles in two strong movies “Amalyat Khasah” (Private Missions) and “Laylat Al Baby Doll” (Baby Doll Night).
It was hard for Saba to turn down these great offers. Saba will start preparing for the rest of the songs from her second album that she is working on as well. The album will be released during the coming summer season.
