Lebanese singer Nicole Saba denied allegations that the children’s song she presented in her recent television drama “Nour Maryam” , which was recently aired during the holy month of Ramadan, is her attempt to imitate Lebanese singers Nancy Ajram and Haifa Wahbi, who had presented songs for children in the past.

Nicole stated that she had not intended on singing a song in the drama, but the song came as part of the turn of events and the song was not her means of imitating Haifa or Nancy. She added that in the drama she wanted to concentrate on her acting capabilities and not her singing, which is the reason she refused to sing the theme song for the drama and had found someone more suitable to do it.

The actress noted that from the moment she read the script for the drama, she was fully convinced with the role she was offered and became very eager to start shooting her scenes. The role she played is of ‘Nour’ a mother and pediatrician enabling her to work with children and help solve their problems.
