The Palestinian singer's record label Platinum Records announced this week that a new Assaf music video was in the works.
After much anticipation, Assaf's hit single "Aywa Hanghanni" (Yes, We're Going to Sing) got its own music vid, reported Bitajarod.
The video, directed by Muneer Barakat, was filmed in Cairo two months ago. The filming location was revealed as a restaurant named "Kushari Abu Tareq."
The single was part of the 25-year-old star's first ever album "ASSAF." It was hugely successful throughout the Middle East.
The video is set to be released during the upcoming Eid El-Fitr this July. The Arab Idol winner teased his fans with a behind-the-scenes video from the music vid on his Facebook page.
