This all comes after Netflix accidentally shared a teaser for Squid Game Season 3, revealing a potential June 27, 2025, release date. Unfortunately, the teaser has now been privated. Still, fans of the popular Korean drama took to several social media platforms to express their anticipation and excitement due to the open ending they received in the second season.

Fans knew Squid Game's third season was coming in 2025 when Lee Jung-jae, who plays the main hero, Seong Gi-hun, revealed it during 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.'
The teaser shared on video-sharing platform YouTube, by Netflix Korea had a description that briefly read, "Watch ‘Squid Game’ on Netflix on June 27."
By the time of writing this article, Netflix has yet to respond to the alleged accidental announcement.
Rumor also has it that Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio might join Squid Game as a cameo in the third season after the Oscar-winning star expressed being a fan of the franchise. The actor was reportedly spotted last year on-set, filming his cameo role but other details remain confidential to avoid spoilers.
