Lebanese singer Nawal Al Zoughbi invited a number of journalists to her home for lunch to hold a semi press conference, which she referred to as a gathering of friends. The journalists she invited were carefully selected to eliminate the ones who write negative criticism about her, and to whom she admitted her previous lies.
According to the London based Elaph, Nawal admitted to have to not being so truthful regarding previous rumors of her plastic surgery and her bad temper towards some members of the media. She admitted to have undergone a plastic surgery on her nose recently. She added that the new look of her cheeks is a side effect from medication she took during her pregnancy.
Nawal also confessed to have mistreated a journalist who was trying to take pictures of her at the airport in Oman. She said that she was having a serious conversation with her agent and there is no need for pictures to be taken especially since she had no makeup on at the time.
The singer also admitted that she banned a representative from Nadine magazine to be present at the press conference she held in Oman even though she denied the allegation when questioned by one of the journalists.
The moment of truth for Nawal came as a surprise to everyone not knowing the real reason why she would discredit herself publicly.
In mid-January, Nawal arrived in Qatar to take part in the Doha Festival to hold a performance alongside a number of Arab singers. In the 48 hours of her stay the singer shocked everyone by acting in a manner which was in more ways than one unacceptable.
Upon her arrival and as she was descending from the plane Nawal flipped out at one of the reporters who was trying to take pictures of her and was welcoming to Qatar. The singer began shouting and screaming at the man pushing him away from her, giving an ugly image of herself and Lebanese singers.
Her rudeness did not stop at the airport, but as soon as she arrived at the hotel she barely greeted those who were waiting for her and gave them the kind of looks that made it seem she is above everyone there. A manner, which proved that there have been drastic changes, made in the personality of the singer and all of course negative.
The Qatari television held a quick interview with the singer welcoming her to their country. After that a press conference was decided upon in which the singer will hold but after she had time to rest. Before the press conference Nawal demanded that she does not want any representative for the monthly magazine Nadine to be present without giving justifications. This along her previous actions towards the press left a bad impression on the singer in front of everyone.
The main question at the conference, which caused a silence in the room, was regarding her determination to forbid any representative from Nadine to be present. In response, Nawal made it seem as if she had no idea of what the reporter was talking about and insisted that she had nothing to do with the matter. Her actions proved that she was in fact a skilled liar and actresses outdoing anyone in the acting business.
