According to the London daily Elaph, the famous Lebanese artist Nawal Al Zoghbi returned to Beirut last week, coming from Egypt after she finished filming an episode for the entertainment show “Layali Al Somer” (Dark Nights) with co-host the artist Waed. The new show aired on Dubai channel on the 15th of April.
The studio of the new show has a desert theme and has a Bedouin look. Nawal sang five different songs on the show and they are “Leeh Mishtalak” (Why I Miss You), “Al Hawa O Amaylo” (Love And What It Does), “Aghla Al Habayeb” (The Dearest), “Teji Minak” (Coming From You) and “Albi Isalo” (Ask My Heart).
The show also included old songs for other great singers from the Arab world and there was great enthusiastic environment among all the guests. The Kuwaiti actor Dawood Hussein was also a guest on the same episode where he imitated a number of personalities from show business.
On other grounds, after spending Easter with her family, Nawal traveled once more to Egypt on April 14th in order to film an episode for another
entertainment show “Swareh”, which is aired on the Egyptian local channel.
After Egypt she will head to Dubai where she’ll record a new Khaliji “Gulf
countries” song titled “Mina Aini” (With My Pleasure). The khaliji song is written by Sami Al Jaman, composed by Dr. Yaqoob Al Khibazi and distributed by Husam Kamel.
Once Nawal finishes with recoding the new song she will return to Beirut to prepare for filming the new song into a video clip. The new Khaliji song will be released as a solo single before she launches her new Arab and Khaliji album. Nawal is still in the process of meeting with various poets and composers from Egypt, Lebanon and the Gulf countries in order to choose new songs for her upcoming album.
