ALBAWABA - Star Nassif Zeytoun and his wife, actress Daniella Rahme, who is almost due, announced that they are having a boy.
While on the "I Have a Question" podcast with Lebanese journalist Mohammad Qais, the Syrian actor talked about how he felt about the baby before he knew what gender it was. He said that Daniella had wanted a girl and then said, "It's Elias." I was worried since Daniella wanted a girl.
He said, "My mom kept telling me not to worry about the baby's gender but to pray to God that it would be healthy." I really wanted a boy, though. Some people might think this is a small or unimportant issue, but I'm being honest about how I feel. I want people to call me Abu Elias (Father of Elias) and bring back my father's name.

During the interview, Nassif revealed how he met Daniella Rahme and their first encounter. He said spontaneously, "I had a Valentine's Day concert, and she was there to attend. Then she came backstage to greet me and take a picture with me. The first thing I thought when she came in was 'Wow!' And that famous picture that went viral—the ugliest picture on the planet, not of her. And she posted it on social media."
He continued spontaneously, "Oh God, how I hate that picture, and how much I despise whoever posts it!" He went on to tell the story of how they met, saying, "Then I went on stage singing. At a certain point, I was singing 'Baddi Ayaha' (I Want Her), and I started looking at her—you know, the way artists do it—and I saw her looking at me, and we continued."
It's interesting to note that the Syrian star is a judge on The Voice. In the most recent episodes of "Blind Auditions," he, Rahma Riad, and Ahmed Saad fought hard against each other. Each coach only turned their chair for the voice they thought their squad couldn't live without. The last episode finished the teams, and next week the "confrontations" stage will start.
