Lebanese singer Elissa has revealed that she considers Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram to be the closest person to her heart from the entertainment world. She added that they constantly meet for dinners and have great times together.
During her appearance on the show ‘Superstar’ on the Egyptian satellite channel “Al Hayat”, Elissa said that she is fond of Lebanese singers Carol Samaha and Haifa Wahbi, for they never tried to hurt her in any manner and she shares a mutual respect relationship with them. She added that she feels the same way about Egyptian singers Angham and Shireen Abd Al Wahab.
Elissa stressed that she cannot like everyone, at the same time she does not hate anyone and tries to be civil with everyone in her line of work.
With regards to Najwa Karam, Elissa said that she admires Najwa’s talent of singing the Lebanese song in a perfect manner, but unfortunately there is no chemistry between them as is the case with her and Yara and Nawal Al Zoughbi. She added that she respects these singers but does not interact with them on a personal level.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Elissa stressed that her recent dispute with Haifa Wahbi was greatly exaggerated by the media. She added that a small misunderstanding was turned into a great dispute, but thankfully when the two met they were on good terms. Elissa revealed that she considers Haifa to be the most beautiful Arab singer and is fond of her singing talent.
Elissa noted she considers Egyptian singer Amro Diab to be the best singer in the Arab world and Lebanese singer Wael Kfoury to be the best Lebanese singer.
