By marrying Yousef Harb, the famous Lebanese singer Najwa Karam has upset her family, especially her brother Nicolas who seems to have other reasons for discontent with his sister’s decision rather than the mere family’s disapproval.
According to press reports, it is a well-known fact that Nicolas, who is Najwa’s manager, contributed a lot to her rise to fame. He was the force behind the scene of her success.

Nicolas Karam claims that his sister has failed to keep their mutual agreement that he is to manage her business and get a 25 percent share of her income from concerts. He goes on to blame Najwa's husband Yousef Harb for the star’s retraction of the agreement.
