Syrian director Najdat Anzur resumed shooting his two series Akher al Fursan (Last Knight) and al Masloub (Robbed) after few months halt to wrap up his series al Bahth A’n Salahiddin (Search for Salahiddin) which was aired last Ramadhan.
Anzur resumed shooting the series Last Knight in the UAE desert and only few outdoor scenes remained to be shot in Tanzania. The scenes are related to the Islands of Zenjibar (Tanzaniz), which had close ties with Arab merchants.
Many of the series scenes were shot in a number of Arab and foreign countries extending from Morocco on the Atlantic to China.
The series is about an exciting journey of an Arab knight who aims at reviving the features of the national knight. The theme conveys deep humanitarian objectives.
The series poems were written by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashed Al Maktoum, UAE Minister of Defense and Dubai’s Crown Prince.
On the other hand, the series al Masloub (Robbed) is a historic fantasy about a man who constantly appears in a state of contemplation. The man fantasies things, some of which are achieved as he wishes and the rest pass unnoticed -- Albawaba.com
