Prominent Egyptian actress Nabila Obeid has denied recent circulating rumors that her face is deformed as a result of a plastic surgery leading her to withdraw from her role in the new film “Amarit Ya’qoubain”. Nabila stressed that she has become accustomed to hearing such silly rumors since she starred in the television drama “Aunt Noor”.
According to the Saudi based daily, Al Riyadh, Nabila revealed that the rumor behind her withdraw from the film is not true, and the reason she turned down the role is due to the fact that she wants to dedicate herself to roles where she plays the leading role and contributes in their production.
Sources had revealed that the real reason behind the sudden withdrawal of Obeid from the film "Amarit Ya’qoubain" was the most recent plastic surgery she underwent, which deformed her face. Nabila had stressed before her withdrawal that the film will bring back her fame in the cinema, which is on the verge of disappearing.
It was also revealed that the role, which was stripped from her after she had a plastic surgery to remove wrinkles that began to appear near her mouth, is of a successful business woman, who is stuck in the middle of corruption. Unfortunately the result of the plastic surgery was not only a disaster to Nabila, but also the cast of the film as well as the doctor who did it.
The result completely the opposite of what was expected and the actress’s face became deformed. The actress became incapable of controlling any of the muscles in her face or even open and close her eyelids. The actress also became unable to smile forcing the director to take the part from her and look for a replacement.
The rumor added that in an attempt to calm the actress doctors agreed to undergo two more plastic surgeries during the start of the New Year on the actress in the hope of returning her to normal. The operations will be done in Paris to fix the actress’s features, which if they remained as is will lead to her resignation from the acting world.
