Myriam Fares has proved herself to be one dedicated artist. Despite having been down for the count for most of a week at the hospital for a severe case of food poisoning, the Lebanese diva rose from the sick bed and traveled all the way to Dubai to perform at a wedding.
The "Aman" hitmaker has kept her worried fans up to date via Instagram with her recovery process. She first informed everyone of her condition with a picture of the IV she was attached to at the hospital.
"I wish that I am healed of this poisoning before this coming Friday so that I can make it to Dubai where I am to hold a special performance at a wedding and to allow the life of the couple I will sing for filled with a positive start in a memorable night on the tunes of the songs of my latest album 'Aman'," she shared on social media.
In addition to supportive comments from her fans, Myriam has her new hubby to literally give her a hand during these hard times. She posted a pic of the two lovebirds holding hands while she lay in bed surrounded friends and family.
"Thank you all for being there for and not leaving me for a second and most of all thank u to my life partner your presence made me feel much better," she captioned the image of her supporters.
Then, after eating her first meal in five days, she let everyone know she can keep a promise come hell, high water, or food poisoning.
"I kept my promise, left the hospital yesterday and came all the way to dubai to celebrate the new chapter of a beautiful couple....now going back to beirut to continue my treatment," she posted with a pic of her looking utterly glamorous and not sick at all.
But, apparently, she isn't 100 percent just yet. She's back in cahoots with an IV in a Lebanon hospital again. The good communicator that she clearly is, we'll no doubt know right away when our sick superstar is back to her singing best. With the popularity of her latest album, you can bet it won't be too long.
