Lebanese singer-turned-actress Myriam Fares held a press conference in Beirut this week where she officially announced the launch of filming of her upcoming TV series “Ittiham” (Accusation) alongside Egyptian actor Hassan Al Raddad.
The conference was held at the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel of course, where Myms was accompanied by the drama’s show-makers.
Although details of the show were supposed to be the main event, Myriam’s dress ended up taking centre stage! Yep, her “back” made an appearance too on the day!
As reporters took interest in the fashionista’s outfit, hair and accessories, she gloated about being dressed in brand names from “the soles of her shoes up to the tip of her hair.”
Myriam named every brand on her designer-covered body, but apparently “forgotten” the label her dress was by. That’s when she allowed reporters to unzip her dress and read the label!
Clearly Myriam didn’t leave much to the imagination with her bare back on show!
But she didn’t look shy at all with her body revealed for all to see. Perhaps it had something to do with her role as a “prostitute” in “Accusation”?
Myms said that although it’s been rumored that her latest role will be that of a prostitute, only a small portion of the rumor is true!
“There has been many rumors regarding the nature of my role in the drama and I can say only one percent of what has been said is true. The ongoing talks and speculations do not upset me, on the contrary, they show me how eager people and the media are about my new role.”
According to Elaph news, to keep things short, Myriam said that her character is not a prostitute per se, but will be working as one for a limited frame of time during the series.
“Accusation” will mark Myriam’s second acting experience. Her first was in the film “Selena” as the main character “Selena.”
The singer said that when she played that part, she totally immersed herself in it and lived that character as if it was really her! She said that she wanted to be as convincing as possible for her viewers.
In other news, Myriam announced that she will be putting off releasing a new album before Ramadan for one very simple reason: to make her fans miss her and give them more time to look forward to her next album!
She added that until then, she’ll only be holding her previously-planned concerts as scheduled!
