ALBAWABA - My Hero Academia fans are mass-blocking its creator, Kohei Horikoshi on Musk's X (formerly known as Twitter) due to disagreeing with the romantic outcome in the recently released extended epilogue, which was also received poorly by the audience similar to the manga's ending.
The manga which sold 100 million copies worldwide is considered one of the most popular Shonen Jump titles in recent times for its beloved characters, stunning art, and fast-paced action sequences. The anime adaptation by Studio Bones who is best known for animating titles like Full Metal Alchemist and Mob Psycho 100, further solidified its popularity in the shonen genre.

My Hero Academia fans mass block mangaka over Deku x Ochaku
The whole purpose of the extended epilogue is to address all the plot holes and issues that were not addressed in My Hero Academia's official ending.
While many fans expressed their satisfaction with the outcome, several others started mass-blocking mangaka Kohei Horikoshi on Musk's X over finally shipping Izuku Midoriya (Deku) and Ochako Uraraka together.

Other comments weren't so kind towards Horikoshi, here's what some users wrote about their disapproval of Deku x Ochako:
"You are dead to me."
"I'm so serious, let's mass-block him."
Many others pointed out how "childish" some fans could be over fiction relationships and called the mass-blocking movement "uncalled for" and "toxic".
"Just because it didn't go your way... doesn't mean you should try negatively impacting an individual's work and life."
By the time of writing this article, Horikoshi's account garnered over three million followers on Musk's X.
