The cast of the movie [Abu Ali] had to stop working and wait for Egyptian actress Muna Zaki to return from Beirut so they can resume filming. The filming will take place in Al-Wahat near the Libyan border, where actor Kareem Abdul Aziz [Abu Ali] and his lover Muna Zakki will be chased.

Until this point, journalists are forbidden to enter the shooting site in order to keep the movie as a surprise to every one. It is expected that the movie will be introduced to the public in a ceremony during the Eid Al-Adha holidays. The movie is written by Bilal Fadel and directed by Ahmad Galal, production is by the Arab Company for Production and Film Distribution.

The movie is a romance revolving around a couple who unfortunately meet at a very bad time and are faced with many obstacles. Muna's last movie [Khalti Faransa] was a great success and made 6 million EGP in profit. Muna performed the role of a low class poor girl who struggles to live in Cairo.

Muna said that she was not looking for such part but when she read the scenario she accepted, adding that she did not know before that such people were real and she hopes that the movie succeeded to shed some light on their miserable life so people can help them.

On a different note, an International Cosmetics Company decided to chose prominent Egyptian actress Muna Zaki within its jury in a contest to choose young talents in the field of elegance and fashion designing. The contest will be held in Beirut on the 27th to 30th of September. The committee also included actress Ghada Safi and Lebanese fashion designer Zuheir Murad.

The winner will spend a one-month training course with Zuheir Murad as a prize. The cosmetics company excluded the age of participants between 16 to 20 years old only. Exclusive rights of broadcasting were given to MBC satellite channel and will be aired on six episodes during Ramadan, Islamic holly month. –Albawaba.com
